We originally met as client and agent and soon formed a close friendship. We both wanted to work together but never seemed to be able to get the timing right. There were many paths we almost went down instead. In the end, we found our way back to each other, becoming the team we are today!

Jessica - I stepped through the doorway of the house filled with excitement. Early in the process, the possibilities seem limitless. My husband and I were buying a house. Our first house - and truly creating a home together. We decided to let the trepidations come later. For now, I am going to enjoy this! At the time, I was working in escrow, having just graduated from college. I was only beginning my real estate journey.

As we walked through the rooms of the open house, we noticed the agent. She came to greet us and introduced herself as Nicolette. I had been going directly to listing agents in my quest for the perfect house, but as Nicolette spoke with us, I knew I wanted to work with her. She had a passion for what she did. Aside from that, I just wanted to spend more time with her! Sure enough, Nicolette was the agent who found us our home.

My own interest in real estate led me to several positions. After working at First American Title, I went to work with a property manager. After I was licensed, I worked as an assistant for the owner of a brokerage.

My family owned a plumbing company, and briefly wooed me away. I had met my husband while in college, and he too worked for the family company at the time. They wanted us to take over the business, and we gave our best run at it, but I realized I didn’t want to mix family with work.

My friend Nicolette had been hearing of my journey all this time, knowing my true passion was real estate. She asked if I’d like to help her out with coordinating transactions. It was part of a larger strategic plan that I’d discover later, a plan to go on to a business partnership with me! I’ve never been happier in my work and couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Nicolette – I first started my real estate career in lending back in 1999, where I originated up to 15 loans a month before the real estate market crashed in 2007. I then found myself working at Lowe's to make ends meet. I jumped back into real estate, but this time in sales in 2010. After a few short years I started my own brokerage company.

I was happy for Jessica, I really was, but I was disappointed for myself. I suspected we’d work together really well. But before I could say anything, she agreed to work as an assistant at another brokerage. I thought I'd lost that opportunity for good. I couldn’t compete with the package they offered her. Not then.

Between my husband’s experience as a real estate appraiser and my background as a lender and top-producing loan officer at a Fortune 500 company, I knew Jessica would have been such a great addition to the office with the various areas of real estate she’d worked in. We would be a team that could cover anyone’s needs! That’s the special matchmaking magic of placing the right person in the right house. There’s nothing like it.

I also knew Jessica was starting her family. Having raised four kids, I know how much work that is. And I had made many geographical moves before settling in Paso Robles over 30 years ago. I thought it was the most beautiful place I’d ever seen and the perfect place for my family.

When Jessica left real estate to pursue the opportunity with her family’s plumbing company, I thought she was leaving the industry entirely. But she wasn’t gone from my life. We were genuinely friends, and I genuinely cared about her. When I heard she was considering taking a step back into real estate, I wanted to help. It was the real reason I offered her a role in my office. But it also confirmed my suspicions: we made a good team. That was the moment when I finally felt like things had aligned, and I asked Jessica if she was interested in being business partners. Luckily, she seemed as thrilled by the idea as I was.

A few years down the road, we were incredibly blessed with referrals from friends and family and our business had grown together. It was time to search for another partner. We looked for almost 2 years before we stumbled upon Summer at a broker caravan. Her bubbly personality and ambition drew us in. We both felt she was the right fit for our team and offered her to join us!

Summer - Upon graduating with a business degree, I found myself drawn to a multitude of career paths. However, my primary role and passion was being a devoted wife to my husband, Lawren. Over the years, we navigated numerous job-related relocations, which in turn, sparked my interest in property management and real estate in general. I took great pleasure in flipping houses, immersing myself in the redesign and decoration of each property. This experience ignited a deeper desire within me to delve further into the real estate industry. Therefore, I decided to become a licensed agent. My aim was not only to assist others in finding their dream homes but also to support the continuous growth and needs of our beloved family.

After becoming a mother of four, juggling remodels, moving, buying and selling real estate and a busy family, we decided to relocate to my husband’s hometown, Templeton. I embarked on a journey to familiarize myself with the local real estate market as the new girl in town. I sought a team that was not only dedicated and genuine, but also understood the importance of family commitments. As I evaluated various brokers and their work ethics, I identified a gap in the market for home staging. Leveraging my prior experience in this sector, I decided to initiate a home staging business and align myself with a team that shared my vision.

During an open house for industry professionals, I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica, a new mother cradling her week-old baby. Then a week later, Nicolette was hosting a separate open house, where I was discussing staging and my career as an agent and she invited me to lunch. I didn’t know that they were in search of someone with my skillset, just as I was searching for brokers like them.

The invitation to lunch to explore potential collaborations was a pivotal moment. Within the first ten minutes of our conversation, I was certain that I had found the team I had been yearning to join. I am incredibly grateful for how seamlessly our skills complement each other, allowing us to form a dynamic, trustworthy, and accomplished team. We are ready to cater to any and all of your real estate needs while still being active in our community, with friends and our large families. There’s so much we can do together. We look forward to seeing what we can do for you!

This may be unusual, but we often become close with our clients! We're real “people” people and maintain our relationships. We’re there as emotional support and to handle all the details. We sweat the small stuff, so you don’t have to!

Between the three of us, we have experience in every aspect of real estate: escrow, property management, lending, vacation rentals, construction, even interior design and staging! We’re personal investors and can educate our clients on the investment that’s best for them.

Community is extremely important to us. Whether Jessica is coaching soccer or softball or Nicolette is fundraising or overseeing a rotary club meeting as president, or Summer is coaching Cheer or putting on an event with Templeton Women’s Charitable Club we know we get out of the community what we put into it. If you’re new to the area, we’re likely to know the right people to introduce you to, people you’ll form friendships with.

The best parts of this job are meeting the people, handing over the keys, and seeing the personalized touches that make a client’s house their home. We look forward to doing that for you!
